Terms and conditions relating to hire by same group of two or more cottages at Borvemor Cottages 2011
We are always happy to accommodate groups who bring their friends and family and set out our guidelines below.
1.We would ask you to nominate the name of the person as the responsible signator for all bookings along with provision of security bond of £25 per cottage along with their telephone number and home address. This would be returned one week after end of holiday and dependant on the cottages condition being the same on departure as on arrival.
2 Additional plates, cutlery and cooking utensils as well as fold away tables and chairs can be provided from our main store where groups wish to eat in one of the larger properties This saves borrowing from other cottages which would then have to be reinstated during a short period on handover day .
3 We are unable to make facilities such as hot tub ,Sauna etc available to groups as these are exclusive to the tenants of individual cottages and require a short introduction by the owners to individuals to ensure that safety measures are met in these unsupervised areas.
4.Electricity monies can be collected from plastic wallets next to meters with electricity readings filled in at commencement of let and completion , and a simple calculation of same is left as an example so that individuals wishing to leave early can do this without reference to owners. We would ask that electricity monies be collected by responsible signator based on terms relevant at the time of let and a receipt if requested will be issued on morning of departure.
5 Due to current fire regulations regarding number of bedrooms in one property guests can no longer use the interconnecting corridor door between Stable and Byre cottages and this has to remain locked but access using external doors is only a few steps between cottages.
6 Due to our policy of not allowing dogs in Blackhouse or Vallay house we cannot allow dogs, in groups hiring these cottages as well as Stable or Byre Cottage(s).
